The Miami game is the '05 win when they were ranked #3.

The "05 win over Auburn snapped a 15-game winning streak.

If my memory serves up correctly, the Miami '05 game was their last year at the Old Orange Bowl? I was there.
A couple of thoughts.
1) Damn this place could use a good power washing.
2) My date from Cuba was really hot.
3) Tashard Choice is a man.
4) My view row #1 behind Tech bench with my date, and Buzz having a great time.
4) I forget the Wrestler's name? DT. He was sitting in a chair just in front, and my date, said "his chair is about to collapse." I nodded YES. He is a big fellow.
5) A big win for us while they were #3. They were quiet early.
6) Felt a little worried as I drove out of there with a lot of angry Hurricane eyeballs looking my way.
7) The fans there dress differently. Both men and women.
8) My date from Cuba was really hot.

A great road trip. I drove down and the game was part of a two week visit. Naples, alligator alley, golf in Pompano, Lauderdale, Boca.

Attended both Auburn wins as well.

#1 Yes, a different kind of dirt/filth than someplace like NYC, Chicago, etc but just overall scummy
#2 & #8 are most certainly true!
Your second #4 was Anoai, now Roman Reigns
#6 It’s like a cellblock where you’re at risk of getting shanked
#7 Beaters, mullets, chains, gold & diamond grills, etc & then you got the Lolas

2007 was the last year of the Orange Bowl. That was also a win (17-14) against Randy Shannon in his first year. My recollection of that 2005 game is that it had been moved from Oct due to Hurricane Wilma, and they had to bring in some temp lights for the night game due to damage from hurricane.

Mark Teixeira when asked about how the baseball players used to hang out with the fb team, bb team, golf team, etc while he was in school: “At a place like Tech the athletes are generally the lowest IQ students on campus so we all have to stick together”

Good stuff. He also emphasized that Tech never lost to UGA in fb throughout his time there.

This team was the one that made me appreciate college Basketball. Guess it's time for me to break out the rye and start the nostalgia marathon. It's what Tech fans do best lol

And we were even better the next year when Bosh and Nelson left, surprisingly. That was the final 4 run right after this season iirc.
