It's interesting seeing recruiting of european players increase as football gets more popular over there. I wonder what the transition to playing college ball over here is like. The change in competition level has to be absolutely insane.

I hope Sylvain becomes a big player for us this year. We will likely need him

I can remember when the idea of a European basketball player playing at high levels of college ball was considered laughable. Now they are as good, if not better than, their US counterparts. Your post may be prophetic in that regard.

OTOH, it seems odd that the process does not seem to work as well in reverse. Yeah, we have a few guys playing overseas but no one is making their presence felt in the same way that Detlef Schrempf, Luka Doncic, Dirk Nowtitzki or a guy who is on track to enter the Magic, Jordan, Bird level of basketball immortaility...Nikola Jocik.
