Here's an interesting video showing six restaurant chains who might not be around much longer. I think Appleby's,Hooters and Subway will be gone in 5-10 years.
They have been losing market share for a while and got bought our in November 2017.The only one that surprised me on the list was Buffalo Wild Wings. All the others I could see going by the wayside.
Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle going to prison for pedophilia has damaged Subway and they've still not recovered from the effects of that yetI would be shocked if Subway goes anywhere. Of the 6 listed, they are the only fast food of the group and they have the niche as "healthy" fast food and are riding #3 in sales.

Went from $11.5 billion in 2014 to $11.3 billion in revenue per the article in my first post. I know in wall street terms 2% revenue loss is big, but not enough to sink them in my opinion.Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle going to prison for pedophilia has damaged Subway and they've still not recovered from the effects of that yet
