Scout.com 3-star recruit... the No. 8 guard in the nation (ESPN.com), No. 26 by Scout.com... a finalist for 5A linemen Mr. Football award as a senior... first team 5A all-state in 2008... as a junior, earned first team all-state, all-county, all-region, all-city and All-East Tennessee honors... played in Tennessee's East-West All-Star Game and served as a team captain... coached by Eddie Courtney, earning four letters... led Farragut to a regional championship in 2007.
