If it's on the internet it's true, (I wish)

But then I saw ODU is also #1, sigh. They were 75th last year and we have them in a few weeks (14 Feb opening day) for 4 games. Not bad for RPI, better than last year. (I'm being positive so far this season.)

Anyone going to opening day?

So what happens to everyone's opinion if we have a magical season that ends up in Omaha? Does that change anyone's thoughts on if he needs to move on? I'm sure most of the Danny haters will say no and everyone has the right to voice their opinion. Granted the recent results are not what any of us have wanted and I'm sure CDH would agree with that. But I think you can also tell by that interview and the support of all the former players, Danny commands a lot of respect from them as well as other people in baseball. He does a lot to help his players, both current and past.

I'm sure that if the on field product does not improve quickly then his decision to remain will be taken out of his hands. I hope that doesn't happen. I hope we have a great season and we all get to enjoy what we all once enjoyed from this program. I will be rooting hard for his success this season and hoping that we see some dynamic young players from this recruiting class along with the transfers coming in to support what we have returning from last year.

I know there were people that were thinking it was time for coach Nell to move on from the women's basketball program and look at what one recruiting class has done for her. I don't hear anyone calling for her to be replaced now. I know basketball is not the same as baseball but I'm hoping the comparison turns out true for baseball as well.

I'll be there at as many games as I can make hoping beyond reason to make it to Omaha again. I've always admired what Hall has done at Tech in terms of producing great men and student athletes. Hopefully he can get to Omaha one more time, and I'm going to believe that we can.

Personally I have felt it was time for a change for a year or two now. But to this point I have had too much respect for CFDH to call for his firing, instead thinking that surely he knows it is time to hang up the spikes and let some new blood take over. I truly thought this would be his last season, that it would be announced as such by now, and we'd be able to give him a proper send-off. But that interview didn't sound like that is the plan. I believe he is in the last year of his contract (someone correct me if that is not true), so JBatt will have to make a decision one way or the other after this season. Like you and THWG, I hope that the decision is an easy one because the team over-performed, but TBH that doesn't seem very likely at all.

If we go to Omaha Hall should stay for another year IMHO. I don't hate the man but the results. He's a good guy by all appearances. I think our program deserves a better shot.

I'm not sure that the on the field product matters. If it did he would have been gone many times in the last ten years. Just my opinion.

I'm planning to go to a bunch of William & Mary games this year, including with UVa. But GT baseball is boring right now.

And he didn't. That was last year's interview. But it's same ole same ole every year so it works.
??? Not sure what you mean. The interview was current, as they talked a lot about Stanford and Cal joining the ACC, they talked a lot about how well Drew Burress played last season, etc.

That doesn't sound like someone who is planning to ride off into the sunset at the end of the season.
Yeah. It sure doesn't sound that way.

I'll be there all season and can't wait for first pitch but mediocre acc seasons and early tourney exits are getting to be exhausting.
