3 Bye Weeks in 2024

Random thought, but I realized today that with an early Labor Day in 2024 (September 2nd), there will be 14 Saturdays between the first full CFB Saturday (August 31st) and Thanksgiving rivalry weekend (Nov 30th). Since we play Week 0 in Dublin, that means we will have THREE bye weeks next year. Not sure how to feel about that…

Oh dear. I can already see the talking heads and CFP committee trying to penalize us for that after our undefeated ACC Championship season. Poor SEC and B1G teams only had 1 off week and we were given an advantage with 3 off weeks.

ugag has 2 bye weeks, and I imagine they aren't the only one

l think we’re 3-6 after a bye dating back to 2015 including 0-2 under Key. Bye weeks benefit professional teams at the college and NFL levels, but I’m convinced they benefit performance of actual student-athletes.
