I did not hear it was the academic advisor (that would be a juicy update) but I also heard the same rumor about King getting a girl pregnant from a former student-athlete.

I’m not sure he was even having surgery; just a weird type of injury that reoccurs and he has to play through the pain when it flares up. It affected him at TAMU as well.

Are you responding to me? Neither I nor the OP requested fiction in response to the question. He was injured and looked to perhaps need surgery.

There’s no stories anywhere about even considering surgery. The only thing that comes up in a Google search is this thread. Since it’s just speculation, that’s a bad thing.
