The ACC will release schedules at 9pm Monday evening, Jan. 26, via the ACC Network channel. Normally, the individual schools go ahead and release their respective schedules online around that same time so we aren't stuck with waiting on the telecast to take forever grinding through every week when all we really care about is Tech's schedule. Some notes below.

Sep. 5: COLORADO
Sep. 12: TENNESSEE

Sep. 19: TBD
Sep. 26: MERCER
Oct. 3: TBD
Oct. 10: TBD
Oct. 17: TBD
Oct. 24: TBD
Oct. 31: TBD
Nov. 7: TBD
Nov. 14: TBD
Nov. 21: TBD
Nov. 28: at Georgia

* September Saturday dates are updated

Notes:

-There will be only 1 open week this upcoming season.

-It will be interesting to see if the GT-UGA game stays in its traditional Saturday slot or if they'll move it once again to Black Friday like the past 2 years. The schedule release Monday night might not address this. Meaning, even if it is slated on Saturday, the game could be moved to Friday closer to late May when the kickoff times and TV designations for the first 3 weeks are normally released. I know the game isn't in the first 3 weeks, but this is when they also sometimes announce other key games adjusted through the season. Could happen anytime really.

-Just a guess and only a guess, I think Tech will travel to Stanford, Clemson or Pitt in Week 3. Rationale involves 1) I don't think we'll get our lone Open Week that early (or at least I hope not), 2) I'm guessing we won't open the season with 4 straight home games, and 3) Va Tech is already scheduled for a non-conference game against Maryland in week 3 (reportedly will be a Thursday night game not that it matters to us) so we know it won't be them that week. I'm kind of hoping it is the road game at Stanford so we can get that cross-country road trip over with and then come back against Mercer. All guessing though.

CO is crap and UTK is overrated. We really ought to beat TBD, so I'd say we're 11-0 heading into UGAg.

Yes. Woops. Thanks so much. I don't have an edit option, but if the mods can fix, please do. Damn. Sorry about that.
Thanks for the info in one place.
Plus the resonable speculation on order.

It made me sad we had a perfect 25 schedule with a second bye spaced before last part of year , but we fell on our faces.

We’ll have 2 games and about 150 offensive snaps to get our QB ready for ACC play. I know everyone is anxious with a new starting QB, but I can promise you that Colorado and Tennessee are kinda wishing they didn’t have to play this game. We are that team folks don’t want to deal with because they know they are going to be hit repeatedly. We will have a lot of players ready to prove themselves which I freaking love.

Here’s my guess:

Sep. 5: COLORADO
Sep. 12: TENNESSEE

Sep. 19: at Clemson
Sep. 26: MERCER
Oct. 3: WAKE FOREST
Oct. 10: at Stanford
Oct. 17: Bye
Oct. 24: DUKE (Homecoming)
Oct. 30 (Fri): at Virginia Tech
Nov. 7: BOSTON COLLEGE
Nov. 14: at Pitt
Nov. 19 (Thu): LOUISVILLE (Senior Night)
Nov. 28: at Georgia

Opening conference play vs Clemson has kinda become a “thing” (have done it 4 of the past 6 times we’ve played). I don’t mind it. Duke for Homecoming is classic, as is a weeknight game at Lane. Hope we do a Thursday Senior Night again like we did in 2024 vs NCST. A way for us to combat the pseudo bye week uga schedules every year before our game.

IMO if we do a Thu night game it will be the week after the bye.

Of course... front load the home games... granted three of the first four weeks are locked in. I'd hope that a 10/3 game would be on the road to spread the home games out a bit more.
As far as the guesses to when the ACC schedulers will hose us are as good as any ;)

In 2026, UGA is at South Carolina the week before us. Having 9 SEC games makes playing cupcake opponents before us each year a little more difficult. Obviously I don't know how well SC will fare this year, but clearly a more difficult opponent than Charlotte (2025) and UMass (2024).

Random fact about this upcoming schedule: As a Tech fan that lives in North Carolina, last year was great having the Jackets in the state three times! Based on our rotation of ACC teams for the upcoming year, this would be the first season since 1981 that Tech hasn't played a game in the state of NC against the likes of either Wake, Duke, NC State, or UNC.

Good call, I was so accustomed to the cupcakes I didn’t think to check!
