we don’t play Miami in the regular season so I guess we’ll have to wait for the ACCCG to wreck their dreams this time

It is clear to me the ACC was foolish to agree to the CFP changes demanded by the SEC and B1G. This makes two years in a row the ACC has gotten the shaft with their top team being denied a spot. And it is Alabama both times that got in with little to no real justification.

I will be interesting to see what happens if SMU loses to Clemson and uga loses to Texas. They will likely say uga losing the CG should not be an issue, but SMU is out. I sick of it.

What is everyone’s thoughts on next season? What should we consider a successful 2025 if we have everyone back we think we will?

IMO I think we should expect an ACCCG appearance and a playoff push.

The ACC slate next year is favorable, but as we are seeing this year, you likely need to go undefeated or 1 loss to make the ACCCG. Winning at CU would be huge

If we win the ACCCG we are in…period.

I’m struggling to understand why everyone wants to debate this anymore. There is one clear way into the playoff. Win your conference. The rest is politics, lobbying, tampering, etc. The wild thing is that if georgia had beat Ole Miss we win that game without anyone throwing a fit because it doesn’t matter. But the moment millions are on the line and they need them in whether they win the SEC or not and they’ve gotta do something about it.

Key put it best. That game threw gasoline on his fire. King comes back and we are winning 10-11 games, beating those clowns, and making some serious playoff noise next year!

…or it’s so rigged that I quit watching entirely…probably more likely than I want to admit.

It is so hard to predict until the transfer portal is someone finished. Our DL has lost some significant talent to the transfer portal in the past few years as one example. Our top players are always at risk with the lure of the SEC and NIL money. If our roster remains mostly intact, I would hope no less than 8 wins with definite upside

Ask me this after Spring ball when we have an actual sense of who is going to be on the team.
Too much movement these days to make any assumptions.

Mostly I want to see a continued upward trajectory (and I really want to beat UGA).
