Honestly, I'm still a fan of the underdog mentality. I would rather be surprised by a good season happening, than be let down they didn't live up to expectations

I’ve probably thought about it too much. I just mean that so much can change season to season so there’s a lot of uncertainty for all teams.

We don’t have two elite OOC opponents for a change. This isn’t a slight to 2024 Colorado that’s punched well above their weight this season but no Hunter nor Sanders players and who knows about Sanders the coach. I’m pretty excited about the opener in Boulder.

ACC schedule looks favorable. We play Clempson at BDS and need to right the last time we played them here… 73-7 Clempy back in 2020.

Most of our other ACC opponents are middle of the pack teams. Of our away games, perhaps only NCST is a ‘hostile’ environment. Very winnable ACC schedule.

Regular season ender at MBS is still a sour note for me. But the dwags sure do enjoy losing there as they will on Saturday to Texas.

Overall prediction is 11-2. With a CFP berth.

8 wins minimum, 9 is the expectation, 10 is very possible if we avoid the injury bug better than this year. Would like to see us get to the “win big” stage vs our lesser ACC opponents. Who knows who it’ll wind up being, but there should be at least 2 or 3 of them on our ACC schedule. Breaking the streak against either Clemson or uga would be part of a successful season as well imo

I expect blood in Atlanta when we face the mutts, and I expect us to slap around a lot of ACC competition on the way to that bloodletting. At this point in time, assu.ing no major portal or coaching deductions I expect an ACC championship berth, a Georgia victory, and playoff invite (home or bye depending on ACCCG outcome. )

Nine wins is very doable. When you look at our last few recruiting classes, there’s been quite a few higher ranked guys that were just misses that will impact us next season. Thankfully, we’ll have a top 10 qb in the country and he’ll help make up for deficiencies. But we need a healthy Haynes squared for most of the season.

If we do well in the portal like I expect us to, 10 wins is very doable. I expect us to drop a close loss to someone we shouldn't, and beat one of either Clemson/UGA. And 10 wins should get you in, especially since the SEC keeps the exact same in conference schedule as they did this year (home/away games flipped). It'll be an interesting offseason though, record number of players will be in the portal based on the trends over the last few seasons.

I think a 5-0 start is very likely. We should also beat VT and Wake. Syracuse has alot of seniors leaving and we get them at home. The others games are harder to predict.

The schedule is way easier. We should be ACC and playoff contenders if we stay healthy.
The way college football is now no one really knows who will be on any team next August. Predicting on 1 December for the next season can be fun but has zero meaning. Who will be the starting QB on most of the ACC teams is a complete unknown right now.
