Here is a decent reference about our current DL depth. Not sure about the accuracy of all of the info but I think it is all somewhat accurate. Info from the 247 scholarship distribution page. (So shouldn't include any guys not on a scholarship for us)

I think Harris is a junior. Update: Nope, they're right and my depth chart is wrong.

I see 247 has Lockett transferring out and Corey Robinson too. Tech should definitely try to convince them both otherwise. Perhaps Robinson thought that Makenny had beat him out and he should face it. I would have moved him over to right tackle to replace Williams, but that's the coaches decision. As to Horace, I hope they can get him to back off. He's a sure starter next year.

Harris is out of eligibility. He was honored for senior night.

Horace’s claim to fame was spitting on an opponent in a game, drawing a 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty and being ejected from the game. We have not seen much of him since.

Go Jackets!

Robinson is a grad transfer I don't think it's entirely up to him or the coaches.

Says in the roster that he's a R-Jr. with a year of eligibility left. He's been one of Tech's most highly graded OLs this season and I think he's worth a fight.

But I don't have anything that resembles a line on this; you could be right. Besides, it's Lockett that needs to one turned around.

He graduated in that time a redshirt Jr has been in school 4 years. Most of our guys are getting out in 3 now.

It will all work out. We have good to great coaching there and a lot of development occurring down the line.

Go Jackets!
I agree. And new incoming players, FR or transfers, are more easily integrated in the DL, than the OL, which takes much longer. Our DL improved play over the course of the year shows our coach's ability to develop DL. OL is a bigger problem.

I think DB's and Safeties can play and even start right out of HS. I know one of the recruits will play and may straight up win the spot out right.

LB is possible but more difficult. DL it almost never happens
The Cedarton stud will be in the mix. If he is half as good as advertised Tecjh has a special player. A 3 yr starter.

Does the 105 scholarship limit start next year? Does a school have to use all 105 for scholarships? Is the 105 all available on a roster with scholarships given still to only let's say 90 which reserves the remaining spots to PWO? Or do all 105 spots have to be on scholarship? No walk ons of any kind? The 90 number was randomly chosen, or can you designate any number you want with a min of the original 85?

I gotta be honest, I thought Height was done and we had Harris for one more year.
Everyone knows Biggers was the man, but honestly Yondo was one of our better SDE in a while as well.
I actually feel like we have our two best DL coming back but we will have to find a 0/1 tech in the portal

I would argue DL is the easiest components to plug and play portal guys. You just need to cough up the change for the good ones, and I imagine we’ll buy at minimum two.

Beetham at TE seems to be missing from this list, a Jr I believe. He played quite a bit so I presume he is on scholly.
