Like always the ACC does GT no favors. We get the toughest ACC opponent we face in 2025 as the first ACC game. It also means we have at least 3 games at Bobby Dodd in September. We also have 3 straight home games. It would be so much better if we wouldn't front load the home schedule and only have 3 games at Bobby Dodd in October and November.

9/6 Gardner Webb
9/13 Clemson
9/20 Temple

Yeahh the ACC should know this is a likely one of the marquee games for next season. Gotta push it towards the end of the season.

High profile opponents to start the season may help keep the players locked-in in their preseason preparations and help keep them focused during the grind of Fall camp. I'd rather play Clemson before Gardner-Webb.

I think this sets up pretty well for us. Colorado will be a dogfight and let us know what we have to work on for 2 practice weeks leading up to Clemson. Maybe we can rest up vs. G Webb and not get beat up so we can play our 2nd toughest opponent at full health. Then we can take care of business vs Temple the next week.

The NFL draft could be done in three hours, but it’s spread over three days for TV content. This is the same—not needed, but done for extra attention
But much more scripted and less irritating than pretending to anoint a champ from one of two conferences.

To me, this is the part that sucks. Half of the home games at BDS, all in September where it can be hotter than you know what in the stands.

Gardner Webb has a high probability of being a scorching game. If we beat Colorado in the first game, there is a decent chance that GT and Clemson will be ranked and could play the late ABC or ESPN game. There aren't going to be many ACC-ACC games on 9/20. There might be a chance that the Temple game is the late ACCN game. A 7:30 start on 9/13 and an 8:00 start on 9/20 wouldn't bother me any. (You would probably still need your cowboy hat for the beginning of those games though.)

Night games at bds are the best.
All that matters is we beat clemson.
