I actually feel REALLY good about this team.
I could easily see this team getting to Omaha but also could lose in a regional.

This team is young and, as demonstrated today, can be prone to make mistakes and errors.
If we play tight defense and don't walk or hit batters, I feel we can beat the best of the best.

The talent on this roster is definitely Omaha worthy.

Right now, we are like the 49'ers trying to get past the Cowgirls in the 90's.

This is my favorite Tech team in every sport since probably the 2014 Orange Bowl football team. I just like the youth of the team and they are fun to watch.

Echoing what many in here have already said, it was a frustrating game to watch...
Couple of base running mistakes and the missed tag on the stolen base (They never showed a replay in the stadium so I was wondering what happened since the ball was well ahead of the runner).
Their outfield made a couple of nice catches to kill rallies. Still, I wanted Tech to come back so bad so I could stop hearing the Clemson chants...
Frustrating...

5 run 3rd should've been only 1 for Clemson if Kyle simply applies the tag on the stolen base attempt where the ball clearly beat Purify.

Aberration of a performance from Brady. It happens. I now feel better about him in a regional since he got a stinker out of the way.

Kyle made multiple base running errors today that cost us AT LEAST 1 run possibly more.

It was a poorly pitched and played game. It's not like Clem's Son knocked us around or anything.

Certainly we contributed, but my comment was that Clem played a very good game. We should not minimize that.

Oh I'm not.
Listen, Clemson is clearly a national seed if they were to win the acc championship tomorrow. I'm actually rooting for them.

We've played them tough and I believe they are an Omaha level team and that makes me believe Tech has the talent and ability to make it to Omaha.

Only reason I didn't go today was due to sickness but can't wait to be there at the Rusty C on Friday.

I’m actually going to comment on this twice. We have the youngest lineup in P4 who very well could go to Omaha and most definitely will be preseason top 5 next year. What other team at Ga. Tech has this even been a remote possibility in the last 25 years? To call this performance “garbage” is dumb af.

We better learn how to hit curve balls. That reliever made us look like little leaguers. I would throw curve balls until our hitters proved they could hit them. Most of the ninth was guys swinging at balls outside the strike zone.

I can easily count 3- 4 runs we gave away and you just can't do that and expect to win big games post season Personally, I don't like to watch sloppy baseball like this, especially in a big game. No excuse for those base running errors, one on a coach and the other on the player.
And I know I am old school and bad losses are hard to take. As my dad used to tell me when I played, "son, baseball is not a life and death matter, it is way more important!" Of course he was kidding, but he was only half-kidding.

Yup, just got home from a couple hours of driving and will have a whiskey to celebrate a successful regular season that exceeded my expectations.

Just win the next game.

You're hitting on "the deal" ... the margin for missteps is removed in the post-season. Every game matters. Every play can make a difference. It's not literally win or go home now... but effectively it is.

The competition will have high-level talent. The next time Ga Tech plays like they did today... it will probably be another loss. And today wasn't terrible from them.

In order to emerge winners the next 2 weekends, it'll take the "best" from everyone in the lineup. Ga Tech has all the pieces they need... it's all about execution now. Margins are unforgiving.

Yeah, my wife was asking why the awkward swings & I said the same. I couldn't hit the curve either, so I'm in no position to talk...haha

Put up or shut up time. Our cumulative record against 1 and 2 seeds in D1’s latest projected bracket is 3-7. Gonna need to at least double that # in the in win column to get to Omaha. We know the pieces and talent are there to win vs the big boys, now just have to actually do it!
