We expected Duke to be good this year, but how good is the question. Is Arizona State this bad?

Hate to say it, but they're going to make those of us that absolutely hate Duke exceptionally nauseous this year! :depressed::depressed::depressed::depressed::vomit::vomit:

We know how good Flagg is going to be, but this Kon Knueppel sounds he could be a real nemesis.

I watched some of that. Mostly fast breaks and dunks. Hard to evaluate. Duke has 10 transfers in. They are long and athletic. ASU looked bad. So is Duke great or ASU terrible? Probably some of each.

Duke's issue in recent years is to get all the new 5* players to want to dig-in and play D the way they used to under K.

yep They already have a guy that the Olympic team raved about. My instincts tell me they are going to be really good.

Why is the title spelled wrong?

This even being a stand-alone thread is a little ridiculous, but the title is absolutely spelled way way wrong.

I started this post wondering how Ty Claude did at UNC Monday night in their game against Elon. He did not play. So I looked at all our out transfers. Of course, Kelly lit up Vermont for 21 points in 18 minutes off the bench for Auburn. Abram had 13 points and 1 assist in a LA Tech win over LSU Alexandria (NAIA). ED came off the bench for JMU and scored 2 points to go along with 4 boards and 4 fouls. Gapare came off the bench for Maryland and score 5 points while creating 3 TOs. Deebo played 26 minutes and failed to score in A&M's loss to UCF. Sacko did not play in N Mexico's win over Nicholls.

Make whatever you will of this. Kelly was a key guy for us and he is coming off the bench at Auburn. Otherwise, none of these guys did much in their debut elsewhere.

Claude is likely just a practice player who may get some blow out time during the season. Hard to get any PT with that roster.

I expect Kelly and Abram to thrive in their new, lower pressure roles. Who's ED? I'm blankin'..
