Same situation as the football forum's thread. I know historically we use the ACC season thread for live game discussion but figured it would be nice to either separate live commentary out from general conference chatter or to have a place to discuss non-ACC games you're watching.

Kon Knueppel is him. He's going to be a PROBLEM for the ACC this year. 15 first half points...the #18 freshman was the best player on the floor against ASU and is the best player on the floor tonight against Maine.

Freds Pauls Bagatskis is the leading scorer for Le Moyne right now as they extend their lead to 3 points over Syracuse at the Dome with 14:00 to play. Dawgs in a tight one with Tennessee Tech at halftime but Asa Newell has 16. UWG hanging in there with Mississippi State down 11 at half.

UCF beat Texas A&M. Deebo is in the rotation but does not start. He had a pedestrian performance at best.

I think Kowacie will slow him down

I had no idea he was on Le Moyne. Had the game on casually in the background and my son exclaimed "there's a GT transfer." I suggested he must have misheard something.

40 minutes later, Bagatskis stressed the heck out of 'Cuse with 18 and 5.

The lesson here is, you cannot stop Freds Pauls Bagatskis, you can only hope to contain him.

Hot take, I would rather my player contest a dunk and get posterized than step aside and give the opponent a free 2 points. If you're able to prevent the basket, there's a chance they may score 0 or 1 points on the possession if the play is ruled clean and the dunk is missed or free throws are awarded.

Of course your player could commit the foul and the opponent still make the basket giving the other team an extra point while a potential player on your team picking up a crucial foul or a Technical Foul. Playing smart in the situation is a better answer.

Nah.....if I am going to commit the foul, the shot isn't going up. He should have known that even if he tried to tackle him he was too small.
