Interesting (something different)... Clemson schedule is 4 non-conference weekends to start season. They play 10 consecutive conference weekends. Typically, ACC teams play 3 OOC weekends to start season, start ACC schedule on 4th weekend, & spread 10 conference series over 11 weekends (with nothing scheduled or a non-conference weekend sometime late in season around exams). That means at least one other ACC team (not FSU or Duke) will have to do what Clemson is doing.

I see (& respect) what you did there, Nuke. There's another side to that coin.

Mathematically speaking... none of those post season events are a certainty for any team. So rather than spend the next 8 months wondering if I've upset the hexter jinxters (real or perceived) "out there" ....I'll just leave well enough alone.

Oh boy... I hope I did that right.

Is there a reason GT is always so late releasing their schedule? I can’t imagine there’s difficulty filling out the dates. Being a southern school there are plenty of northern teams available early in the season and the March and later midweek games are annual matchups (KSU, GSU, etc.)

Yes... @GTNavyNuke contacted the appropriate authorities & explained that @FredJacket doesn't have much of a life & needs to spend his [less than] valuable time scouring the world wide web for scheduling crumbs.

...actually, I don't know why. I believe the schedule is set well before now & certainly before Dec/Jan... when it traditionally is released. Ga Tech is normally the very last ACC team to pop it out.

I keep thinking the same thing.

That‘s probably why we are blessed to have Fred on our side. I’ve replaced the Nationals as my second favorite MLB team, most likely because of Brother FredJacket. I was a Baltimore fan before they had the Fab. Four led by McNally, Cueller, Palmer and Tom Phoebus.

Actually, this slow release of scheduling has been this way for as long as I can remember. It goes along with the generic low level of communication by GT concerning baseball, such as no WG series statistics. But we got stats for the two exhibition games. I'll put in with the roster when I get a chance to see who played and where. There are going to be some cuts coming, but we don't have enough info to make even a reasonable guess (not that that stops us).

Have to get to 40. I think by next Feb. But some can be injured reserve and not on roster but stay on team / scholarship I think.

I'll post who is on roster and who played in 2 scrimmage games. But it's all a guess at this point.

A lot of development between now and Feb.
