https://www.collegeandmagnolia.com/platform/amp/2019/5/29/18643972/atlanta-regional-primer Another regional preview. Saying a lot of the same things. CC great hitting, meh pitching. Auburn bad hitting, decent pitching. FAMU not good but hot. Tech great hitting, decent but beatable pitching. “Kyle Coleman leads the team in innings pitched with 94 and carries a 3.26 ERA into the post season and will more than likely see Georgia Tech Friday night on the Flatts. Game Two for FAMU would then go to Josh Hancock who has a 4.47 ERA on the year. On the back end for A&M is Jeremiah McCullum who was named First Team All MEAC for his 25 innings of work this season with 11 saves on the year and a 6-2 record with a 3.13 ERA. In the field is where the Rattlers have some issues, as they will carry a .955 Fielding Percentage into the regional.” Decent ERA for that starter expected to go against us. Obviously against worse competition, but similar to CTs. Looks like a decent closer too. Gotta keep doing what got us here. Productive at bats working pitch counts up. Getting into bullpens is essential in regionals. Long at bats can pay big dividends down the road regardless of the result of the at bat.
