To be fair, Joe Burrow was only a lowly 4 star QB.

Cam Newton and Justin Fields were 5 star QBs. You can also add to that: UGA didn't even try to recruit 5 star DeShaun Watson until the very last minute even though he grew up right under their noses. UGA obviously has issues with certain types of QBs. I'll let the rest of you interpret that however you'd like...

Tennessee has great recruiters on Jeremy Pruitt's coaching staff and the word going around is there may be a few players who will flip making Tennessee's recruiting class a top 10 or possibly a top 5 recruiting class by February. I think Georgia Tech under Geoff Collins could have yearly top 20 recruiting classes with how well they recruit.

Will the staff at Tenn make them relevant again? I see great recruiting here but I am not sold on the coaching ability.

Tennessee should have been 9-3 this season and i think Tennessee will go 9-3 in 2020 and could be a 9-10 win team in 2021 and 2022. I think when Nick Saban retires and Dabo Swinney turns down Alabama that Jeremy Pruitt would take the Alabama head coaching job in a New York Minute.

In the last Rivals 2020 College Football ratings of National Signing Day they have Georgia Tech ranked #23 while they have Tennessee ranked #9:):cool::D:smuggrin: Coach Geoff Collins and his coaching staff did a great job of recruiting and Coach Jeremy Pruitt and his coaching staff did a great job of recruiting also:cigar:
