Yes, I guess so. It’s a shame that this needs to be a rule. Why would a college intentionally recruit students who have committed serious offenses? Win at all costs, I guess.

Only the SEC has to be told “No” on this. Other conferences probably don’t require that guidance. On a side note, other felony offenses (not sexual assault or family violence) are ok to recruit in the SEC. Their talent pool would shrink too much otherwise

The PAC 12 passed a rule that no 5-7 teams can go to Bowl games. I'm all for this and i hope other conferences pass this rule also. Hopefully this would get rid of the most low rent of the Bowl Games.

In honor of D-Day happening today June 6th 1944 here's a real hero Theodore Roosevelt Jr who was awarded the Congressional Medal of Honor for his bravery on D-Day and the days following. Theodore Roosevelt Jr died at the age of 58 of a heart attack on June 12th 1944 and is buried at the Normandy US Cemetery.
