When I first got season tickets in 1981 most games were over after the first 30 minutes. Bud Light was for the next 3 hours.
Have games always been 3.5 hours long? I thought that was more of a modern thing with the additions of extensive replays, commercials, etc. Figured they would have been quicker in the 80's.

Georgia Tech is planning to launch a new master of real estate development degree.

"The new degree is a collaborative academic program that has technical, design, and construction components that are aligned with business, planning, and policy aspects of real estate development," says a summary posted by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. "The program promotes the sustainable utilization of land and property. Program resources will be leveraged among three academic units within the College of Design, specifically the School of Architecture, the School of Building Construction, and the School of City and Regional Planning. Broader collaborations will occur with the Scheller College of Business, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering, and the School of Public Policy. The curriculum is a design based real estate development program that focuses on planning, design, finance, and construction. Opportunities will be developed and made available for multidisciplinary research in real estate design and sustainability."

“Charles is an engaged leader and innovator at Georgia Tech in numerous areas, and we are very fortunate that he has agreed to add the role as the Institute’s new faculty athletics representative to his responsibilities,” said Peterson. “On behalf of all of Georgia Tech, I would also like to thank Reggie DesRoches for serving us so well as our FAR for the past three years.”

Isbell has been a faculty member at Georgia Tech since 2002, but first came to Tech as a student to earn his bachelor’s degree in computer science. He also holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
