5. Georgia Tech QB Justin Thomas


In his first year running Paul Johnson’s offense, Thomas was exceptional, but as the Georgia Tech coach was quick to point out, this could be just the tip of the iceberg. With a year of experience and wider latitude in directing the offense in 2015, Thomas could easily emerge as one of the country’s most explosive offensive threats.

#5 on the list of potential ACC Heisman hopefuls, even then there is some seriously stiff competition for the prize in the ACC alone.

Why is Brad Kaaya #2 on that list? He was MAYBE the 5th best QB in the league, on a 6-6 team, and the focus of that team was their RB anyway.

Yep. The U's problem has been the QB position. They have been pretty decent everywhere else, but they have not had the string of QB's like in the 80's and 90's.
