Looking Back - Easily the most popular Georgia Tech recruit as he was a 4* and rated very high when he committed to Georgia Tech (Rivals later dropped him to a 3*..no surprise there). Devine dominated Summer camps and won several MVP awards. He was invited to "The Opening" which is held by Nike and showcases the top players in the nation. He performed very well out there and simply dominated a few kids. Shamire had tons of offers and was thought of as the best offensive lineman in the state of Georgia.
Looking Ahead - He is coming into Georgia Tech as a guard...Devine is a massive guy but what makes him special is how fast his feet are. A rare trait for a big man like himself...Shamire will need to get in the weight room and lose some weight and reshape his body a little bit. However the talent Devine has is easy to see and he has a chance to be a very special lineman for Georgia Tech. I do not think he will play right away due to the depth at guard and also due to him needing to get in a little better shape. I see Devine being a 3 year starter and a anchor on the o-line by the time he leaves Tech.
