1) Win the turnover battle. If Tech can do that, odds are the offense will score enough to win. GT is perennial top 5 rushing offense, especially when you limit the ranking to Power 5 conferences. Every year, new QB, veteran QB, we are going to run the ball. Less turnovers, more points, less time for the bad guys.
Of course this is true of every football game ever played, but with guaranteed ground game, odds go our way.

2) Pass Rush. We need at least one- honest to God, up the field pass rusher, who can sack the QB, and just as important, force hurries. Way too many teams throw on rhythm against us. Push up the middle needs to improve also, so QB must adjust at least a bit.

You can talk all day long about QB potential and expectations, but IMO not knowing who are starting QB is two weeks before the start of the season is unsettling.

Johnson has said he knows who the starting QB is and he's know for awhile on Thursday I think it was?

A real pass rusher would be huge for our defense
