Watch our extremely dinged up team try to finally steal one in Tally. Can't remember the last time we won a game there. No Wacie or LOB. Mustaf and Lance are going to try to go but are game time decisions. These guys are the same ol' Coach Ham team - lengthy and will try to play with tempo. Same old,same old. Slow start.
Ball actually moved pretty well in the 2nd half - we had some nice sets and got great looks, so we can score on good defenses. Unfortunately as soon as something goes wrong, the team seems to have all their priors confirmed and decides that's it for the day. Not too dissimilar from TFG's teams.
When the game got close late, Nait jacked up an outrageously bad shot early in the shot clock, then gave up an and-1 in transition and that was all she wrote.

Cut it to 4 point deficit, then basically imploded.
Not enough warm bodies for whatever reason to be able to play a close game today.
Some darn good effort for stretches, followed by too many "what are you thinking" moments.
All but Souare and Ndongo have to be gassed. I do have to give that as a bit of an excuse for some of the "what are you thinking" moments in the last few minutes of the game.

Proud of the jackets' play in the second half. 6 guys, foul trouble, and yet they kept it close. It could have been much worse. I felt like I saw more emotion from CDS than any other previous game. He was calling TOs quickly, coaching hard, and showing emotion. Maybe he has learned that he can't be so stoic on the sidelines. The team seemed to respond to his energy but they got tired in the end. Its a shame we have a whole boot section on the bench. We could have used them all today.

Very frustrating to see so many wasted shots from beyond the arc. When we went inside, we made shots. If it weren't for the free throws this would have been a blowout. When you're 5/22 from beyond the 3 point line (as we were at one point), maybe don't take so many of those shots.

Can't win when the other team shoots 52% and 44 points in the paint. We have no ACC level talent in the front court after Baye. It's about overall talent level with the ability to finish and score.
