  1. Clemson prediction.

Historically these types of games (GT as a home underdog) tend to go under the Vegas total (was at 57 the last time I checked). Regardless, I don't see us putting up points in the 30s. All comes down to whether or not we can limit possessions. GT 24 Clem 21
  2. GT (-7.5) vs. Vandy

Not sure what it opened at but the total is currently at 43 at my book.
  3. GT (-7.5) vs. Vandy

I would be very surprised if the total opened that low, and if it does mark me down for the OVER! :)
  4. 2 pt conv score for defense

The defensive 2-point conversion rule went into effect in 1988, but I can't find any obvious references to GT being the first team to score in this manner. I did find this article: http://articles.latimes.com/1988-11-03/sports/sp-854_1_victor-valley-college I'll keep looking. Possible GT...
  5. For what it's worth

That is just a list of injuries for this week's games.
  6. I know many are very confident...

You gotta love the orange blow, although I'm not sure what the NCAA would say about that. :)
  7. College Playoff Rankings

Here's the problem with this whole "beating Top 25 teams" emphasis - we could beat both Clemson and UGA and render them both unranked (assuming UGA loses to Auburn). Then what?
  8. Clemson kickoff

Davenport was fired after the 2012 season. Benedictine is a local high school. They are only Class A I think but have a rabid following due to all the alumni in the area.
  9. Clemson kickoff

I would love it, but I'm biased because I live in the Savannah area! :) That being said, trying to get the city council of Savannah to do ANYTHING progressive whatsoever is a challenge in itself. City politics are a huge mess here. Savannah is probably going to lose its minor league baseball...
  10. Unsung heroics Saturday

In the interest of not derailing the thread......I will withhold my response to this, lol.
  11. Best game you have seen at Grant field?

Don't get back to campus much these days, but Auburn '03 was epic. Nobody, and I mean nobody expected us to win that game. You could feel the electricity in the stadium as the clock started ticking down in the 4th quarter.....one of those "oh my God we're actually going to do it" type...
  12. We're Receiving Votes

I don't disagree with your point, but Mizzou is in the SEC East, FYI....
  13. Paul Johnson: #9 Most Powerful Coach in CFB

I think its more like $7M after this season......but, yeah. Its a lot.
  14. Paul Johnson: #9 Most Powerful Coach in CFB

"He doesn't have an expensive buyout." Interesting take, lol.
  15. Introduce yourself

BSAE 2004, originally from the Atlanta area but now call Savannah home. Became a GT fan during the "Lethal Weapon" days.
