This was the first game in the CGC era where I left feeling confident in our coaching staff from top to bottom. Need to see more consistency going forward but you gotta start somewhere and hopefully we see this kind of toughness, fire and execution the rest of the season.
Will be starting my Master's program at Wisconsin next Fall, would be awesome if Tech drew them in Madison but I think we're gonna be the home team this season since we were at Nebraska last year.
Mercer and GaSt both playing in their respective conference championship games tonight, would definitely lessen the blow of that 0-2 start if we can say that we lost to two tournament teams.

A friend of mind who worked with the team (not concrete info) suspects that Key was not happy with having the AHC title but being confined to just the O-line duties and that this was all about leverage to get more responsibilities within the coaching staff.
