Put the ball down! I think Sims, Gibbs, and Co. will be able to move the ball on offense and get some scores. Stopping their offense seems the bigger challenge given our defensive struggles this season. But our defense has some key guys back and looked better the last game. Just have to limit...
Q to the haters -- why don't you like these? Not really understanding all the comments like "don't mind blue but these are bad". Looks fine to me, I like them!
It's one of the accounts run by us, i.e. the GT football program. So it seems to the the coaching staff's picks for players of the week. It looks like a new thing for this season, I don't remember them doing that publicly last year.
A thought on the argument in this thread. I think Collins, in general, is not a guy who likes to get into X's and O's with the media. And that is very likely a conscious choice on his part. Perception in the media, branding, etc. is clearly something he clearly thinks about a lot.
Some folks on...
Yates putting in work. Everyone seems to be discounting him, already looking to the new QB recruits. Could light a fire under Yates. Will be fun to watch what happens.
I love the Georgia State home and home. Very cool idea. ATL vs ATL matchup will generate buzz for both teams, it's a fun storyline for ESPN, etc. to cover. It doesn't hurt our program to play at their stadium.
Your comment here encapsulates what I find frustrating about the anti-Collins crowd. The implication that GT football under Collins is "all show & no go". I think this is the crux of the whole debate -- is Collins all style or is there substance to back it up. As a pro-Collins fan I think his...
I guess some people just don't get CGC's culture. I honestly feel sorry for you because it's way more fun being a fan when you're bought in to it. But you do you.
I would argue culture is more important when you're losing. It's easy to buy in when you're winning. I think it speaks to CGC's...
There are good reasons to favor lining up under center that everyone has mentioned. But so many of you are acting like that's end of discussion, that there's no possible reason to go gun. Lots of smart coaches run plays from the gun in these situations, so there must be something to it. But no...
Kinda pointless convo... we can't change the location of GT. All we can do is sell the benefits of Atlanta, which our current staff is doing. Some people like the city some people like the country. Tale as old as time.
How do we know engagement with the game isn't part of the grading? Maybe it is. Like the original tweet from KQ says, the point of the juice crew is to fire the team up and encourage teammates, not to dance for dancing's sake.
This thread is wild but I gotta say this.
I can't believe some of y'all turned off the game when we got down! First game of the season and a couple rough quarters is all it took for you to bail on the team?!? No interest in seeing how the team finished the game?!?
