    The financial reality is that Northern Ireland is a cost to the UK, so if unification did take place it would be at a cost to the Republic of Ireland. Taxes here are high so I think unification would be a hard sell....IMO most Irish people would like to see it but not all of them would be happy...

    Pub closing times vary, I don't think they'll be open after 1. There are late bars in the city centre that will stay open till later. As for the red headed lasses, the ratio is small unfortunately! On pubs in Ireland....we don't tip in pubs. Bar/restaurant staff are paid well here I believe...
