  1. NCAA Ruling - Postseason Ban, Among Other Bogus Things...

I picked a bad time to retire. I'm also a die hard Dolphins fan, btw.
  2. Bracket Challenge 2019

I'm financially disappointed in the outcome, but this story has the makings of a great 30 for 30 documentary.
  3. Bracket Challenge 2019

No free rounds for whiskey clear and beer chasers....
  4. Bracket Challenge 2019

As I stand to make $3500 if Tech wins, neither would I...
  5. Bracket Challenge 2019

Damn close to scoring on a 35-1 wager on TT. I think UVA wins this easily in OT.
  6. Bracket Challenge 2019

If the Red Raiders win on Monday Night, I'll buy a round of whiskey clear and beer chasers for the entire board :beercheers::beercheers:
  7. Bracket Challenge 2019

$$$$$ I always play defense in single elimination tournaments. And the books were gifting amazing value to Texas Tech. UVA probably wins that game, but I like my position from a value standpoint...
  8. Bracket Challenge 2019

I stand to make a significant score should Texas Tech win the national championship. There are no more ACC units to be earned this year...so go Red Raiders!!!!!
  9. Bracket Challenge 2019

One thing I will agree with is that you either do it right, or don't do it at all. The NCAA loves programs like ours that dip our toes into the water. We don't generate any revenue for them, so they continue to put programs like GT on probation for parking violations. It gives the impression...
  10. Bracket Challenge 2019

Gotta feel good for Guy who has had a rough tournament overall so far. He was certainly the hero for UVA tonight.
  11. So what did Joseph do?

I said it before and I totally agree, $150k is a good price to escape this mess. The folks who are making these decisions know a lot more than us, so I have to believe they are doing the right thing for the GTAA.
  12. So what did Joseph do?

Throughout this thread, I never thought Coach Jo and her inept counsel had a case against the GTAA. But if there is a paper trail of past complaints that were not addressed until now.... That could result in significant civil suit settlements, lots of commas and lots of zeros.
  13. So what did Joseph do?

Looks like an April Fools thing to me, and a bad pun.
  14. So what did Joseph do?

The back story of why B*** L**** lost the trust of his players would absolutely be a termination for cause issue in 2019. The coach Jo situation is clear cut provided her ex student athletes are willing to testify. I will grant you this, if the buyout was only $150k, that would have been my...
  15. So what did Joseph do?

    Much more succinct
  16. So what did Joseph do?

After finally getting a chance to read the third party report, the most damaging thing for CMJ is that her student athletes claim she routinely used personal insults (completely unrelated to basketball) in a pathological effort to motivate them. If those student athletes are willing to testify...
  17. So what did Joseph do?

Good luck finding a single CPJ player who will testify to feeling victimized under deposition. In contrast, it looks as if Joseph's entire team is willing to testify as such. If the GTAA settles under such circumstances, that trumps the Hewitt contract fiasco in ineptitude.
  18. So what did Joseph do?

One thing we know for sure is that Joseph took the advice of bad legal counsel.
  19. Bracket Challenge 2019

That line has increased, presumably because Phil Cofer is sitting the game out after his father's passing. I just locked in FSU +300 on the moneyline, getting 3-1 odds on this game feels like value. Of course getting 9-1 odds on UCF over Duke felt like value too, and that didn't work out...
  20. Bracket Challenge 2019

This figured to a be (another) good year for units, and we need all the financial help we can get. I would have made a big score if Duke fell to UCF today, but from here on out I want ACC units from this tourney, because it helps the GTAA.
