Thanks guys, this is what I was looking for.
I don't see the logic in making the move today though. MAYBE if UNC looked terrible yesterday, but they didn't. It's not like they haven't been having the same discussions every day for the past week and all of the sudden they changed their minds. Lol.
Sure, d1b is always pretty transparent in their projections though. We may not agree with their reasoning, but I'm sure they gave it. I'm just too lazy to watch the stream at this point.
d1b's last projection came out this morning and they moved Auburn to the 4 spot and dropped UNC to 5. They had UNC at 4 yesterday and Auburn didn't even make the SEC championship game. I didn't watch the stream (and don't want to at this point - I'll just wait til 12). Does anybody know how they...
On the line (and leaning over). He made an attempt to get out of the way. Not saying it was illegal, just super cheap.
Watched most of that game and came away not very impressed.
UCLA wins on a walk off hbp that was very questionable. 2nd questionable call if the inning.
Watched 7 of the 11 innings of that game and I dont know how you give that team the 1 seed over us.
I would say H2H isn't weighed the same in baseball unless ALL else is equal. I can see the argument both ways. There's so many games so even in a H2H series it's hard to say the better team wins all the time. Look at all the series wins throughout the season by teams who CLEARLY aren't better...
I don't think a win tomorrow would put them ahead of us in RPI, which has been the most heavily weighed metric. We're 105 points ahead of them currently. It's not the only metric, but in recent history it's clearly been the ranking the committee has weighed the heaviest. They're actually behind...
Nothing official, but I would be shocked if it wasn't Blakely. Ramsey, although he never did it, mentioned in a presser after one of the series (Xavier maybe) resetting the rotation with Blakely at the 2 spot in the last couple of weekends to set that up for the postseason.
My guess would be...
It wasn't meant as an attack. Just giving you a heads up on how the board usually works down here. Take a look at the threads. Was just giving you a heads up that the topic had already been discussed a decent amount in an existing thread and probably didn't need it's own. You can do what you'd...
Baseball Savant is run by MLB and is the same technology used for ABS. We only have it for these games because they're in a minor league stadium. So basically if this were a minor league game and the pitch was challenged, it would've been a ball.
