    GAMEDAY!

Present! Looking forward to an entire week of being a jolly good fellow over a shocking upset of #4.

We would be a Top 25 team this year…

I weep over JG. If he had stayed, he would be remembered and lauded For being something special that tipped the scales. with his move, he will be just another face in an endless procession of forgettable backs Where people can’t quite recall his name.

    good news on attendance.

Unacceptable that we aren’t yearly. Ditto for Tennessee.

Another random question. When did you start rooting for Tech?

I’m the antI-establishment CFB guy. Always pulling for the underdog. Hating on all my friends favorite teams, etc. I came of age in the mid 80s, clearly recalling all the UGA love and bull****tery that went on 80-84 or so. Was old enough to start falling in love with the game itself because...

    good news on attendance.

Interesting matchups are key. Nothing to be done about in conference, but Ole Miss and UCF are awesome gets. Try for more SEC OOC games to increase interest, because the truth is outside of GT, I don’t watch much ACC outside of south of the Mason Dixon line. I watch SEC. Because that’s where...

My bold predictions for this year

I will trade you a loss to VT, UVA, UCF for an upset win over Clemson. Would love to see Dabo go down. I will trade you 1-12 if the win is over UGA. Because UGa. I can say these things because we aren’t going to break .500 anyway,

    GT's Most Iconic Play

I got up to pour another drink about the time he broke through and he was still running when I sat back down.

    Conference Realignment

This isn't about just football once a week, though. It also includes the swim team and such ilk that now are traveling to California Minnesota Wisconsin New York Michigan where before we had FSU, Clemson, and 4 schools in NC all of which aren't nearly as far. It isn't a non issue.

    Conference Realignment

About what I have been saying on another sports board and here. Nobody's going anywhere anytime soon. GOR is doing EXACTLY what it was designed to do. Keep the member schools together and provide ideas some stability in times of upheaval.

    Conference Realignment

Us? No. Play better. Win bowls. That draws fans and eyes. Which draws money. Draw enough and it grabs the interest of B1G. For FSU, I could see them headed to Big12 for a better payout in 12 years. Clemson is screwed, they aren't going anywhere unless they go west with FSU.

    Conference Realignment

I don't think Clemson or FSU can ever get in to SEC. They don't bring anything (or enough) to the table that SEC needs. Tiny markets that are already covered by other teams in their geographical region. And by the time GOR becomes manageable to get out of then it will be that many years these...

    Conference Realignment

That's how it was headed when I was there early 90s. Outside of a few good profs, we were self taught. Diff Eq professor didn't speak any English. Fortunately, the TA did.

Be nice to start selling out BDS again.

    Conference Realignment

Not bad. If one of the conferences DID bite, we could go ahead and start scheduling some home and home to stoke interest and get some exposure.

    Conference Realignment

ND is looking for a way out of either/both GOR and that deal where it must be ACC if they join a conference (idk how much teeth this has). The best way is to make sure enough schools have a dance partner already lined up if they vote to end GOR (and effectively the ACC). There is too much...

GT just won a couple National Championships, did you know?

Winning a National Championship in Quiz Bowl and Drone Racing is the most Georgia Tech thing ever.

For the good of college football

It isn't better for the sport for the same perennial powers to always be at the top. Case in point is current trend. I think it is better for a change in overall winners each year to keep the overall fanbase for every school interested. Put it like this. Are you more likely to watch more...
