I would not assume that it will take that long. I mean, it could take that long. But if they raise the money, it might happen a lot quicker. I'm not rooting for FSU to leave the ACC. I'd like them to stay, and for the ACC to remain as-is. But it just doesn't seem likely at this point.

I think the lawsuit is just a way for FSU to come to hopefully a settlement they can afford. Once they do that, I think there's very little doubt that they go to the B1G. I don't think they would go through all the hassle of this lawsuit unless they knew they had a landing spot post-ACC either...

I've worked with numerous Tech grads over the years. They rarely follow Tech football. Some do, but the majority couldn't care less.

I don't think they'd go through all of this hassle if they didn't at least informally know they already have a landing spot in one of the B1G/SEC. I can't imagine them doing all of this, and then just being cast adrift without a conference.

More money? There are reasons to want to join in with the P2. If we don't, it won't be the end of Tech football. But it will be different.

I'll support Tech no matter where we land. I personally would like for the ACC to keep a seat at the table in the highest division, and for Tech to be in the mix. If that's not the case, we'll still be playing football against someone, and I'll be following along & supporting the program.
