I know my expectations were high after the Elon game but I will say this, although we won 70-0 I didn't think we looked smooth running the TO. I really thought we would improve it but if anything I think we took a step back.

Butker did have a lot of touchbacks especially for a true freshman. Seemed like his leg went kinda dead about mid-season though. Hopefully Jamal comes back good as new next season because we really missed him in the return game. Chris Milton looked great on ST's as did Gotsis blocking the field...

I grew up playing in the TO under an amazing TO coach. Love the big play potential and live the hate other teams have for playing against it. Hopefully JT or TB can get it rolling again

That was perhaps the hardest "clean" hit I have seen all season. I met Smelter in Nashville and that is a grown @ss man!! Love what he brings us!

I have to agree with you. Justin throws a very tight spiral with good mechanics. I don't think he can get it as far down the field as Vad but I believe he will be fine throwing the ball.

Liked Synjyn at QB as well but he had serious ball security issues. He was a beast in short yardage though. Hope JT or TB can make it happen. At this point I'm at a loss for words. Hope our jackets can right the ship.

I hate to see him go. Had the pleasure of meeting him and several other players while in Nashville and he is a very nice and polite young man. I do however agree that he is probably better off playing in another system. Best of luck to Bad wherever he may end up.

I'm glad Johnson got the job as well. The past couple of seasons have been disappointing but I do think he is a good coach for us. I enjoy the option O and I am hoping that Vad or Justin can help take it to another level.

Johnson had already been named head coach before the game. I remember seeing him in the press box. It was an ugly game....

The one he was referring to was in 07 after Chan had been canned and Tenuta was the interim coach.
