I posted about the Cole-Gueye connection after the KSU game. Tonight was a repeat performance! USCU kept hanging around until the first time the two played together around the 15 minute mark in the 2nd half(as best as I can remember). Within the same minute, Gueye assisted on two Cole layups...

I enjoyed watching Cole hand the ball to Gueye and then receiving it back for a layup and for a dunk.... also Gueye receiving the ball from Cole for a dunk. It will be a nice surprise if those two continue to play well together.

Tech basketball started drifting downward much longer than 14 years ago. It really started when players were allowed to go pro early. Cremins put SO much effort into getting a select few players, that when junior Scott and underclassmen Anderson and Marbury left so soon, he never recovered...

While I don't mind seeing MSU and UNC lose AT ALL, today is a perfect example why I HATE the 3 point shot. The game was PERFECT without it. So many offenses are geared around the 3. So when they're cold, do they switch to working for layups? Nope, they keep chunking more 3's hoping they start...

You now can watch the ACC Tournament games on either the ACC Network or ESPN/ESPN2. I flipped back and forth for a few minutes and for me, it's no contest. The ACC Network's coverage is so much better. My 90 year old Dad sleeps through 90% of the games and was totally out of it during the Tech...
