When I lived in Eastern PA, it was known as the redneck T. Pitt, Philly and everything else. My experiences in Pitt suggested it was more T than not. A Philly liberal wouldn't drink an IC in public.

    Conference Realignment

This is a hot take response, but wouldn't there be a certain irony to our joining the B10 bc of the Hill's clout (research $$) after our collective board opinion of their combative existence with the AA, and not bc of our athletic history. It does strike me as a very Tech outcome.

Agreed. Lived in the Upstate for a time. I don't recollect UNC having any real sway on the airwaves during my stay. It was Clemson, GT, USCe on the tube.

Christopher Thomas, DL, UF was a GT offer in 2020. Freshman who redshirted in 21. Good size and we always need DL. No data on the why's or how's of the transfer.

This was a recent Clay Travis take on the future of the ESPN subscriber population. https://www.outkick.com/espn-lost-8-million-subscribers-in-2021-10-of-its-overall-subscriber-base/ It'll be interesting to watch how the money flows in the future in all directions. I think the paying of...

    Conference Realignment

This has renegotiation written all over it. I don't know what the number is for schools, but once enough decide to change, the conference will fracture. The money will work out later. It's a brave new world.

    new schedule format

I'm ok with the permanents. Despite their elevated play, Clemson makes sense for us logistically and historically. Somebody had to pair with Louisville, might as well be us. I'd have preferred Duke over Wake as they are easy to hate on. The Deacons just seem like nice people; hard to build a...

247 didn't update his condition. Digging on Twitter, which is decidedly not my thing, confirms New assistant coach Juan Cardona, who also came from Mercer, would be the strong explanation for the Southern Miss additions. Too bad. Haase would have been a nice add.
