Yeah, they've definitely taken him off the roster, I remember seeing his name on there when I looked earlier today too. That sucks, but at least we weren't counting on him being a contributor. He got passed by last year's freshmen and very well might have been behind this year's crop as well.

Whoa...can't really blame the guy for retiring. The team never matched the effort he put into being great and he had no hope of a championship. Why wreck your body if the team isn't committed to winning?

This is exactly what I fear is going to happen. You change the rule to "sign any time during senior year" and then you have a bunch of schools just up the recruiting pressure in junior year to get those early commits. On the plus side (for us, at least) you'd have a whole lot of late-bloomers...

Glad to see our "hive mind" was correct in thinking he'd end up at TE. I bet the Ravens were a little pissed at themselves for putting him on IR with a hammy...they got decimated at WR and I bet he could have contributed late in the season.

I feel better in general with our D going up against "smash mouth" style teams than spread teams. We tend to have better outcomes against the more one dimensional teams (doesn't everyone, though?).

What about "personalized" jerseys, but just leave the name blank? I can see them not selling specific numbers each year, but I think the personalization aspect might get around some hurdles.

I couldn't be more jealous, sounds like a hell of a trip. If I were you I'd make sure to spend some good time in Munich (Munchen), I had some of the best times of my life there partying with some fellow GT students while at GT Lorraine. One of the most fun cities I've ever visited.

I love Bay Bay, one of my all time favorite Jackets.
