I might catch a lot of **** for this but Im not a big fan of using Buzz for anything that symbolizes Tech. Use the interlocking GT! Buzz looks too cartoonish for me. But that’s my opinion.

True but so is ATL or Chicago. I know there was talk of an ACC tie in with the Bowl game coming to Wriggley Field. I personally can not fathom sitting outside for 3 hrs in Chicago for a bowl game. Can’t imagine the players wanting that either. I must be getting softer in my 40’s. Lol

2 things hurt the Quick Lane Bowl. The date, Dec 26th and the perception of Detroit like it’s still 1980.

I get it. The timing of that bowl is bad. Day after Christmas is horrible, especially to have a tie in with a conference if mainly southern schools and fan travel has suffered. It could be a great bowl if moved to dec 27-29. Detroit is booming right now!

We really need to get the Bahamas Bowl in our tie in selections. Honestly, a majority of our bowl tie ins suck.

Out of any of these projections Detroit is the best in terms of place to play. The date sucks though for fan travel (Not for me!) Dec 26th but outside of Tampa all the other locations look cold and miserable. I remember when playing on Dec 31 meant something, now you have the Military Bowl that...

I do have 2 tickets and a hotel room for the Quick Lane Bowl. Unfortunately it looks like I won’t be using them unless we lose out and I don’t see that happening. I keep the room though. Lol. Mgm Detroit is a good time!

If the white out was in September it’s fine. The material is almost see through, so you better plan accordingly.
