I would say I don’t see something as petty as that ending one of the oldest rivalries, but a lot of classic college football rivalries have ended due to conference re-alignment over the years, so who knows. I never would have thought A&M and Texas would have ended, but here we are.

Reports coming in that the SEC is close to an agreement on a 10 game conference only season which would not allow SEC teams to play their ACC rivals. If that happens, I wonder who our 11th game would be or would we even have one?

We already had the 3rd hardest schedule in the country according to ESPN before this. The only negative IMO is we lose the easy tune up game, but it doesn’t look like anyone will have those this year. Otherwise, it’s not really any harder than it already was going to be. It’s brutal either way.

I am not for paying players in college(though I’m fine with them earning money on their likeness while in college), but the waiver thing during a global pandemic is really a bad look for the not paying players people. It definitely comes off as further exploitation of these kids.
