We all saw how good Mills was on the field. Rewatch the bowl game vs Kentucky. He was better in that offense than Marcus. MM lost the position battle, got mad and took his football and went home.
I like his overall message and think much of it has merit. However....
He compares us to ND and Stanford academically. A deeper understanding of specific course offerings he has not. If a blue chip recruit likes everything we're selling but doesn't want to "play school" he's not coming to...
Coaching transition attrition is it's own animal. CGC's real attrition level starts after yr 1, imo. Like I've said in the past, reasons for guys leaving is crucial. Certain things are beyond a coach's control. Other things, not so much.

Great news! CGC must know of at least 4 guys leaving, guys Under The Line. There may also be other circumstances for departure as well.
For me, there’s a fine line between telling guys they currently aren’t performing well enough to play and telling them you’re no longer in our plans or...
I think there are likely 3 tiers:
1. Top 15
2. 15-30
3. 30 and up
Those aren’t hard numbers, just generalities that fluctuate year to year.
We can be excited about moving up a tier for sure. Improving 15 to 20 spots probably doesn’t mean much.
What really matters is filling key spots...
