Was good to win, and good to play at night again.
I'm really glad TQM seems to have gotten over the snakebit can't finish games hump that has plagued him since Tennessee last year.
It was cold, the stadium was rocking.
On to UVA, then we can focus on an eastern invasion.
The high today in Coral Gables is 85. It will be 40 degrees in Atlanta at kickoff tomorrow. There will be no rain, and these South Florida boys will be half frozen. It will be an ugly first half, but the Jackets will roll these thUgs as they freeze and gnash their teeth in the cold Atlanta air.
They can be testy at times, but @LadyHurricaneJacket and I were there for 2016, and the brief silencing in 2010, so there are some decent memories there.
To be fair, we didn't know the gametime ourselves until Sunday afternoon, but yeah that's a late heads up to the pilots. It is also Military appreciation game, so it makes sense that a flyover was scheduled.
We didn't play well, and I won't harp on this topic, but the officiating was awful, at least from the stands. It's really hard to win when the ref is helping the other guy with no calls.
