  1. Pitt's fanbase is INSANE

It’s rough to be embarrassed twice in three games and almost lose to Youngstown State. I’m not much a believer in Narduzzi, but sheesh.
  2. UNC vs. GT - 12pm Kickoff - ESPN2

For the record, Duke has had four home conference games played in either the 3:30 or primetime window the last two years. Which is to say that it doesn’t have anything to do with performance.
  3. UNC vs. GT - 12pm Kickoff - ESPN2

Yep, you’re right. I’ve tried to eliminate blowing a 21-0 lead from my memory. Though the fact that there has been one in two years probably serves to highlight the ridiculousness.
  4. UNC vs. GT - 12pm Kickoff - ESPN2

I believe the last conference home game which kicked later than 12:30 was FSU in 2015. The last 3:30 conference home game was, I believe, UVA in 2014.
  5. Pitt. @ G.T.(12:20 p.m.)

Tech Clemson in 2014 was a noon kick, too. If I recall correctly, we were 8-2, and they were, as well. This isn't about Tech winning more. It's about the network(s) having deals with other conferences. I would expect it to change when the ACC Network launches, because they'll need...
  6. Big Cry Here....

I would like to know why we were throwing the ball with our backup quarterback - who struggles throwing - on third and five, especially given how well we were running the ball.
  7. Positives

I'll stay away from the obvious positives. How about the performance of the offense to get to the Tennessee 19 yard line with 1:29 left in the game. Not bad for an offense that can't perform in the 2:00 drill.
  8. Chick-fil-A Kickoff Postgame Discussion

I see a lot of comments about how the offensive statistics don't mean anything. It seems like the people who cite them and the people dismissing them are talking past one another. No one is saying that 500 yards rushing changes the result of the game. However, it does have some predictive...
  9. Chick-fil-A Kickoff Postgame Discussion

The killer was the fumble, but the chop block was brutal. Without it we've got first and ten around the 15 and they can't stop us and we're up 28-7 and the game's over. Instead we kicked the FG, which was missed and they cut it to one possession. Just a brutal penalty.
  10. Radio call in questions for CPJ

We've blown a twenty point lead at least once every year since 2013 (uga in 2013, Georgia Southern in 2014, Carolina in 2015, and Duke in 2016). What is being done to protect leads that large so that when we have a team down we can finish them off?
  11. Are you happy with Adidas? (Poll)

Gotta get Paul Johnson out of the pleated khakis on the sideline. Oof.
  12. Dedrick Mills dismissed...

I'm disappointed for him. And while I recognize the rules, if it's for marajuana it leads to questioning whether the rule makes a damn bit of sense. My instincts tell me it doesn't.
  13. Official Ted Roof Discussion Thread

This is very interesting and detailed. Thank you.
  14. Overrated/Underrated Fan Cliche

For our offense, I always look at YPA passing. If we're around 9.0 YPA, the offense is damn near impossible to stop. I also tend to think third down defense is pretty important. If we can hold teams to under 40%, it means our offense is on the field, bleeding the clock, wearing them down...
  15. Best game to attend in person this year?

There are good and bad to most of the ones listed. The other variable will be game time. Like, the Carolina game would be cool, but if it's at noon in late September, then it may not be as good. The Tennessee game would be the one to go to because of the novelty, but I don't care for neutral...
  16. 4th and forever...

It's odd that we have been successful on fourth and long but have failed on fourth and short so much recently. The other fourth down conversion I might add was against the Canes in 2014 that essentially iced the game.
  17. Ranking Every Power 5 Job

The ranking is probably fair, but the reasoning behind why it may be too low is poor. Perhaps it could be a better job (maybe around 30 or so), but to get there would require more than "just a little spread or tempo," the commenter said with a laugh. This also doesn't even touch the fact that...
  18. Tennessee game most important of CPJ's Career?

No. This isn't even close. The biggest games of his time here were the 2008, 2009, and 2014 uga games, and the 2009 Clemson game. The 2014 FSU and Mississippi State games are high on the list, too. That '09 uga game still stings.
  19. Biggest ? Going into 2017

Replacing number 5 will be challenging.
  20. 9-4

Helluva season, especially coming off 3-9. That's two nine win years and two eleven win years since 2008. These are the glory days.
