I predict we find out what kind of team we have. If we have a team that can compete with VT and Uga I say 38-17 GT win, if not 28-24 you pick who wins.
Howard looks like a NFL running back and he’s just a true freshman. Bright future for the Bb position for the next few years. Remember Benson is just a sophomore and has been very productive. They will really push one another next year
The fact is Clemson’s defense played like they are capable of playing. No one in the country would’ve run the ball on them last night. Our passing game has to get much better to give our running game a chance against teams like this. I imagine uga game is gonna look a lot like this game did if...
Last year our offense was built on big plays and a lot of them were passes to our backs, the offense this year looks a lot more like the 2008-2009 era.
I will say Taquon does seem to be more decisive than JT. It's still too early to tell because the more comfortable he gets the more he may try to make something out of nothing like JT did a lot. Sometimes it's pays and sometimes it cost.
I don't wanna jinx us but I don't see this game being close. Tennessee had a couple of superior athletes who kept them from getting blown out by us and I don't see Jax St having that kinda talent.
Benson will make big plays, the question is can he make the tough 1-2 yard gains when nothing is there. I'm optimistic about him though, he's short and stout so I believe he shouldn't be easy to knock backwards in the hole.
Jerry put up numbers like 4500 yards, you don't get that many yards without decent speed. Mills ran people over in high school, Jerry run through seams for big plays, Jerry is definitely a step faster than Mills.
I think he can be a big yardage back. One thing I didn't like about Mills is that he couldn't take advantage of great blocking. Jerry may not be as tough of a runner when nothing is there but he does have enough speed to break off big runs when the play is blocked the right way. Mills very...
Sounds like CPJ sees a lot of upside in JJ, especially how athletic he is and how he shut down any thought of moving him. I'm guessing TM will be our #2 until Jay is ready enough and then TM goes to AB. MJ will either be our starter or goaline QB for the other 2.
Lance is pretty good in coverage, he may give up a pass every now and then but it's usually just a good play by the other team as opposed to him not being in position.
