Yeah the D stepped up today and saved our offense on the fumbles. It's not very often that you win when you lose 4 fumbles. We clean up ball security and we can beat anyone if the team plays like we did today.

OK State would have to cancel a conference game to play us, so yeah that ain't happening. Also they have zero incentive to play us (unique offense to prepare for) on short notice, especially with them already a top 10 team. We could play them in post-season, though.

If 2 point conversion rates sit around the 50% mark and extra points are ~90%, doesn't it then make sense to go for two? Yes, lots of teams try to do something similar. Basically they just say "don't let the OL get by you to the second level". How do you do that when the OL is purposefully trying to not block you but go by you? You grab on and hold. I am pretty sure we've complained to the league office about this...

I honestly don't think Monken is a big enough name for Nebraska fans. What they should try to do if they're smart is hire a young, up & coming defensive head coach (to appease the fans thirst for a big name) and bring in someone like Bryan Cook to run the offense.

If he turned them down before, why would they even bother coming back around? Clearly he doesn't view Auburn as a better place than GT.
