    Road Trips

I've been to Clemson several times and I always get a kick out of how they spell CLEMSON over and over and over. The really funny part is that there is a small pause somewhere in the middle like they temporary forgot the correct spelling and had to think about it.

It's so over the top and from no one of consequence that it's not even useful as bulletin board material. Our guys will simply laugh it off and say what a hack and keep on keepin' on. It will be fun to watch this team this year simply because it's one giant question mark.

We still have to stop people.

Jerry, it’s hard to win games when you can’t stop anybody. Quarterback is not the linchpin to our success. We are going to score points. The question is will it be enough.

You have it backwards, the O will continue to be the stronger unit. The D will be worse than last year.

Not sure I agree on the Braun comment. We saw with Shaq what one future NFL lineman can do for your offense. However, big B’s loss is probably huger because we are so, so bad on the DL.

Most blown 4th Quarter leads since 2012

At least we can say he was always healthy at GT. But then again, he had trouble catching a cold. ;)

I’m right there with you on that one. I hate to talk bad about our players, but our front seven on D has got to be at the bottom of P5.

A little surprise Jalen Camp isn’t on this list. Dude’s a physical beast no doubt about it.

I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised at qb. The routes our receivers are running now are mostly dink and dunk. More importantly, they don’t require more than 2 to 3 seconds to get out of the hand.

    Attrition and Scholarship Limits

An employer makes different promises to recruits than does a football coach and thus expectations are, or should be, different. There are some similarities, to be sure, but not where it matters most. “If you come play football for me we will pay for your schooling.” There are no performance...

    Attrition and Scholarship Limits

    1. I don't know of any coach who suspends a scholly for 1 year giving the kid a chance to earn it back. 2. Kids are led to believe they have a scholarship til graduation if they work hard, make grades and keep their noses clean. They are not told in order to stay on scholly they must see the...

    Attrition and Scholarship Limits

"guys taking up scholarships and serving as little more than warm bodies on a scout team need to be taken off scholarship and those scholarships used for players who are talented and willing to put forth the effort to compete and get above the line." This is wrong. When you offer a college...

    Attrition and Scholarship Limits

Wrong. It’s not high school. There’s a reason coaches don’t blatantly cut players even though it’s well within the rules of the scholarship agreement.

Nesbitt and Dwyer were beasts, of course, but those OL's get short changed. They could really move the LOS in those situations.

The less than a yard plays is what intrigues me the most. We are built for under center power plays, it'll be interesting to see if Coach Pat takes advantage of that or not.

Coach P would be foolish not to run a little bit of option this year. The trick would be giving the TE something to do. ;) I just hope we don't use shotgun on 4th and inches/goal. (unless 4th and goal is from far back and we are forced to go for it due to end of game circumstances.)

I think you are in the Tech fan majority with your opinion. At least I sure hope so. And what you describe as acceptable behavior is not what I consider processing.

    Another recruiting philosophy

The NCAA with respect to catching and punishing factories for anything. (Yet they will throw the book at non-factories for the tiniest infractions.)
