The take away from this is consistent with what CPJ has consistently shared...there is no lack of effort in this team...they fight to the end which to be candid folks is why I follow this team with great respect...
In life you take the breaks when they present themselves since they dont come often or necessarily when earned...I always love the base ball analogy ....a pop fly base hit looks like a frozen rope in the box scoring....
Don't know how this turned into a comparison? The point was they played great together...the benefit was greater than the sum of the parts... Work in progress this year...
I could not agree more...and a great combo with Laskey for a spirit of unshaking confidence and toughness vs this years team which seems to have traded for fatalistic confusion and fretful impatience....
Isaiah Johnson really came on the second half of last year and was a thumper that is missing this year at safety (run support force causing turnovers)...
The annoying habit of fumbling soon after an exhausting defensive stand must be recognized as a demoralizing and game changing contributor to our opponents taking advantage of a gased defense....
I don't know all the technical aspects that many posters on this site do, but the old adage "take what the defense gives you" must have some application with our personel and play calling...
