I actually just got done reading that before coming to check the site! It is a really good article on him. He was such a good player and is such a hard worker that I really expected him to get into coaching. I am glad though that he seems to be happy with his career choice and I wish him the best!
If the staff is forcing people out why would they give another scholarship to a walkonthat (from the outside looking in) we don't have to give. To me this indicates that no one is being "forced out" and the staff already knows a number of other players that will be transferring or leaving the...
Actually I mentioned that I witnessed MANY different players on social media discuss how much they hated playing for him and was glad he was gone (and many were multi-year starters that were major contributers on offense and defense). There were also many coming to his defense. I pointed out the...
I think that CPJ had a strong will to win and tried to pass that to the players. Buy-in on the other hand was probably about 50-50 with the players. While I loved CPJ, he is a very polarizing person, as evidenced by the fact that EVERY thread here turns into an argument about CPJs tenure! Also...
That was the most interesting piece of the article for me. When he talked about it being his "dream job" it was hard for me to tell if he was genuine or just coach speak. When answering questions he always seemed to focus on how he loved living in Atlanta and that is where his wife would want...
Or just use the Chrome incognito browser. That is how I tricked the monthly limit of free AJC articles they used to limit you on (although I am pretty sure they caught on and just changed the whole structure).
Yeah we would never not wear our primary colors at least a few times. Especially when we were rolling out Adidas and focusing on creating a consistent, dominant primary color. That is why we constantly wore white and gold this year but sprinkled in navy to change things up and give different...
That GT on the pants has always bothered me. With all the branding updates they did one of the focuses was limiting the GT logo color options and Navy is not one of them. It should have been white with a navy blue trim to give it contrast from the gold...
That first statement is just plain wrong! Here are the combos from this year:
Game 1 vs Alcorn - Helmet - Gold, Jersey - White, Pants - Gold
Game 2 vs USF - Helmet - Gold, Jersey - White, Pants - White
Game 3 vs Pitt - Helmet - White, Jersey - White, Pants - White
Game 4 vs Clemson - Helmet -...
Why are we not using something like this at games? The videos showing the lights in the crowd synced to the music are awesome. It would be cool if we could also use seat/section numbers in the app to program different color combos or even images like the GT moving around the stadium...
