Most Desirable AD Jobs in the ACC

I am not surprised one bit we rank low among the AD’s. The two things that matter most to an AD is money and support from the administration. Two things we have very little of.

    Roman Reigns on campus

Maybe when Joe hangs ‘em up in the ring we can get him on staff as a recruiter. One of my all-time favorite players right there!

Film Study GT Def Breakdown vs. Clemson

Seems like we haven't had a LB with great instincts/vision/nose for the ball in a really long time.

How Tech plans to use its QBs against South Florida ...

So what do you do if Tobias starts and is crushing it, scoring almost every drive, but the D is giving up points at the same rate? Do you switch qb's because you scripted it before the game, or do you ride the hot hand, er legs of Tobias because we can't afford not to score?

A Player's Perspective on Clemson game

That explains why trying something fails not why you should be scared to try in the first place.

A Player's Perspective on Clemson game

On our first drive, on 3rd and medium, TO rolled to his left and hit M Carter, iirc, on the sideline for a 1st down. I was extremely encouraged by that for three reasons: 1. It was a nice throw and catch, 2. Pat called a pass play and 3. TO looked to have a clear running lane for 1st down, but...

A Player's Perspective on Clemson game

That’s why you throw quick, short passes. Oregon and plenty of other teams do this against great fronts. I’m sure we have them in the play book along with jet sweeps and rolling the qb out, screens, etc. There are many ways to attack an aggressive D.

I said a long time ago don’t sleep on Tobias and all I got was crickets around here.

Another thing, why all the coach speak in the press about how all our qb’s can pass? All messaging in the media pointed to a new O on game day. Was it all a smoke screen?

A Player's Perspective on Clemson game

The game day O was a shocker to just about everyone. This thread is in response to a former GT SA who expressed the same dismay. I wonder how other former players feel because a big part of the culture change was getting them on board. Time to put your money where your mouth is if you want...

    First game participation report

When CPJ was hired, Tenuta had applied for the HC job. If I recall correctly, CPJ offered Tenuta the DC job but he turned it down. He was never hired as a head coach anywhere, I wonder if he regrets not staying at GT?
