I may be in the minority but I think TStan should stay. He made a bad decision with Collins. But otherwise has been good for the school, fundraising, etc.
Isn't that in some ways what happened to PJ? He felt he was not supported and not getting the resources he wanted. Why wouldn't we do the same to Collins if we want him out.
Frankly, when Collins gets fired, I wonder if the new guy is going to come in and talk about the biggest...
Can you blame them? I tried to optimistic coming into the season. But product has been bad. Worst was when he pulled that weak s** at the end of the first half in the Clemson game. Basically told his players he had no confidence in them and same to the fans. If he doesn't believe and fans...
This is an amazing thread. he took over a dumpster fire of a team and instantly turned it around. He had a year or two that weren't great, but even his worst years have been better than what we had before he got here. Compare that to the football team, where we had a guy that was consistently...
I agree. And that’s kind of my point (that it is not an option vs non option issue).
We may not find someone that hits all of these issues, but right now we don’t hit on any. Me saying that doesn’t mean I am obsessed with the option.
Straw man. We want an efficient offense and a defense that’s doesn’t have so many broken coverages. Oh, and some in game coaching that looks well thought out. Whatever you call that system is what we want. What we don’t want is status quo. But keep blaming the option if it makes you feel better.
What have you ever been correct about? You were dogging GT players by name (including our eventual ACC POY) before you left, dogging that team that ended up winning the ACC, and now you come back and literally say we are bad "year after year" one year after the title, and go on to attribute our...
Saw him a couple of times at Trader Joe's in the Highlands. Very nice guy, always smiling and willing to stop and talk. Once was ahead of him in line (which was long) and he talked to my 7 year old about basketball. After several minutes, my daughter said "That is interesting but I don't...
One problem for Hewitt is in the last few years he was a dead man walking and everyone knew it. No coaches wanted to join his staff, and hard getting the recruits he was.
That was year two, right? Imo The only reason that year two was considered an under achieving year was because year one he crushed it. I’d say maybe year three was a letdown.
