    On To Louisville

Not to put too much on one game, but I do think this game could be a huge indicator about how this season is going to go. Lose and I’ll think another 7-6ish season is incoming. Win and I think we may have something a little more special on our hands.

I am happy to take the underdog role, but I’m honestly a little surprised we’re a double digit dog. I’d definitely bet on us to beat the spread. This is a big game. If we win, we’re sitting at 4-1, probably ranked, with a lot of toss up games coming up.

Which is honestly the perfect scenario for the first year of the 12 team playoff. It could be quite a fun post-season, speaking broadly as a college football fan. Here’s hoping we’re involved!

Good post and this is besides the point, but it is an absolute joke that ND is still #17 after losing to Northern Illinois. They love to rank the logo, not the team.

Man oh man, that opening win against Free Shoes was Fool’s Gold, huh? We could still be good, but if we played them third instead of first, I don’t think that win would feel as huge lol

I would love to win big and give our guys some rest and confidence for what should be a pretty big game against Louisville. We will probably have another chance to get back in the polls by beating Louisville.

Joe Hamilton will no longer be on tech radio broadcast

I had a few younger employees from that school in Athens who would always give me grief during the Geoff years. They are young enough to probably have only lived through three losses to us, so they would always talk that talk about how we were irrelevant to them. Well, recently we did a charity...

    Syracuse Post Game

Wait…if the coaches and players aren’t reading BEFORE the games, what’s the point of starting a new topic for the upcoming game every Sunday????

    Expectations

The defense is who we thought they’d be. I’m more worried about how the offense looked through three quarters last week. If the offense plays to its potential, we will make a bowl easily. If not…yeah it could be bad. I still think we’ll finish around 8 wins.

    ProJackets Update

Shanahan’s offense has the reputation of plug in play for any halfback, but that’s an impressive first start any way you look at it.

I said it last week, but a loss to Syracuse was going to create the “same old Tech” narrative and it has. Causal fans are going to need more success to stay intrigued especially after the last few years with us being one of the worst P4 teams and our in-state rivals being multiple national...

I wonder what our exact contract is with MBS, but I bet there’s something in there to incentivize marquee opponents for those games. I don’t see MBS being excited for GSU, but I actually think that would have been the best choice; The battle for ATL in the neutral ATL stadium. It also would have...

Agreeing to the Dublin game was a great choice. That was the best exposure we’ve gotten in years. It was worth sacrificing a home game, IMO.

    Syracuse Post Game

In my opinion, the defeatist attitude is saying “great job, we just weren’t good enough!” which is what your post is implying. Many of us actually believe we could have won that game and lost due to mistakes. Hence, the criticism. Again, the analysis is part of enjoying it. If we didn’t enjoy...

    Syracuse Post Game

Honestly if that’s your argument, clock management on Madden is probably just as relevant as playing little league ball lol. The rules and clock work exactly the same. Why are so many of you afraid of criticism?

The term “armchair quarterback” has been in the vernacular way before Madden. This is and has always been how fans are about sports.
