I’m intrigued by Shaka. I think he’s one of those guys like a Frank Martin that might need to make a lateral move (Mid level P5 to Mid level P5) to restart/refresh their career. I think he could clean up in ATL/Georgia with recruiting.
I too dislike the hat but not because it’s a SnapBack, I personally love them, but because of the Buzz on the back.....
The uni combo was great though! That’s one combo i never thought of.
Yoooooooooooo that’s bad. I’m sure it was a slip. I hope she was meaning to say Knicks and combined it with Lakers but damn she’s gonna catch all kinds of heat for this.
I’d actually like to see more Moore too. I know he fouled out but his energy was great from the tip. Let him get some minutes and settle down. He’s no more out of control than usher. We had a Phillips sighting and I see why we haven’t had any before this one.....
Went on a visit there in 95 when Kresse was the coach. Sedric Weber took a couple of us around. Man they had some good teams back then! You’re right about the campus. Had a hard time finding buildings etc. Felt like a community college. But the city itself is great.
Staying healthy and depth is the key. We have talent on both sides but what gets us is the drop off in the 2/3 deep. Teams like Clemson UGA ND on the schedule, especially CU and UGA seem to have no drop off.
Speaking of Duke I am really curious to see what that becomes post Coach K. If they keep it a Duke guy the only ones I can think of are Capel and Brey that have shown any ability to coach. And the jury is still out on Capel
I kinda feel the same way. Not necessarily Anderson, who I’m not opposed to but even a guy like Frank Martin or someone that needs a change possibly and make a lateral move to try and restart their career. That’s probably the direction we’ll end up having to go because if 1) money and 2) the...
I love the Pitino idea but our NCAA mess will turn the GTAA/Alum or boosters off with his baggage. Now if we were a school with some balls like Auburn we’d say screw it and give it a shot. But we’re not that school....
If we can get to 6 wins with a 1-4 start that will be impressive as hell.
I said earlier the month of September/First of October could determine the season. I’m hoping for 3-2. 1-4 could get bad quickly
I’m thinking the same with the O/U
I’m going 6-6 this year
September determines the season IMO
Clemson is an L. GW is a W. I’d we can steal a game at NC or at VT and beat UCF, 3-2 going into a winnable home game vs UVA gets us rolling. 1-4 is a major disaster
Ya you’re probably right.
I’m still stuck in the 90’s with our program sometimes and still hold it up there with the blue bloods. Unfortunately it’s not. It can be but it’s gonna take the right hire.
I’d love Rick but no way in hell that happens especially with all the Ron Bell, NCAA stuff hanging over the program. OTOH most schools with balls would say screw it and do it but we’re not one of those schools. Lol
We have to figure out how to win at home. If we can win the rest of those it’ll include 3 NCAA tournament teams. Louisville, NCST and VT (maybe) Those would be huge on the resume. The games that scare me are on the road vs Clemson because we never win there, Syracuse because they’re tough to...
I’ll go with 6-6
Wins coming against GW UCF UVA @ Cuse Duke & Miami
Pitt and VT could be toss ups. VT loses Foster, keeps Fuente and is having a mass exodus.
The games I don’t like are of course Clemson ND and UGA but UNC looks tough too.
